Breast Cancer

Breast cancer is the most common cancer for women affecting one in nine New Zealand women over their lifetime. While uncommon, men can get breast cancer too.

These days breast cancer's much more treatable if its found early. but tragically, around 650 women die of the disease every year. Every woman needs to be breast aware from the age of 20 and consider starting mammograms in their 40's to help reduce the risk of advanced breast cancer.
