We celebrate our amazing team of nurses, for International nurses day Tuesday 12 May.
Nurses are the largest profession in the health system, and without our nurses the health outcomes for people receiving care and treatment in the health system would not be improving.
They are in every community, culture and society the world over.
Nurses are the woman and men who see health holistically and are able to innovate and advocate for the whole person, whole whānau and whole population health.
We are grateful and beyond impressed to have you working as part of our team in these uncertain and exceptional times.
Thank you for:
your positive attitude.
bringing your best every day to work.
your professional attitude.
your devotion and hard work.
your kindness and care .
your sense of humour.
your team work.
your resilience and contributions and ability to adapt and step up as we live and work in this changing environment.
Your incredible resilience and ability to take on so many changes in such a short time has been phenomenal.
Every day, in the front line of this pandemic, we’ve seen how incredibly kind and caring, innovative and adaptable you are – for each other and our patients. Much of what practices do and the way we deliver our healthcare services has changed so dramatically in the past 6 weeks - we take our hats off to you all. Thank you for your continued hard work and positive outlook, for all that you continue to do for our communities. Thank you. You are truly valued and appreciated.
